Poverty

Poverty remains a persistent and widespread issue in modern society. In many countries, it is closely linked to unemployment, lack of access to education and healthcare, insufficient social services, and economic inequality. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, poverty rates rose, significantly affecting economic inequality and people struggled to make ends meet.

This has caused devastating effects of hunger, malnutrition, poor health, and limited opportunities for social and economic mobility. Addressing poverty effects therefore requires a multifaceted approach that includes policies and programs aimed at reducing inequality, promoting education and job opportunities, and providing access to basic needs such as food, shelter, and healthcare.
